Caddy Wrap Design Contest
I recently imported a 2006 Caddy from Germany for business use, and as such am getting it wrapped.
Problem is that my original plan doesn’t seem to work on this vehicle. Let me explain.
Silver metallic is the colour I wanted. My original plan was to make this vehicle look more like the version without rear windows. Like some of these:

Silver metallic is the colour I wanted. My original plan was to make this vehicle look more like the version without rear windows. Like some of these:
In my mind, I could use metallic silver vinyl on the body, then use metallic silver transparent/perforated vinyl on the windows to preserve visibility from the inside. Throughout the process, I found out that perforated vinyl doesn’t come in colours. It’s white and it gets printed on. Can’t print metallic finishes and as a result, there was no way to do this.
The next thing I did was choose a different colour. We had chosen a flat light grey, but glossy. We then found it difficult to match the printed colour to the grey vinyl. 3M perforated vinyl runs a 40% transparency, so the black in the windows needs to be compensated for.

The other problem is that the perforated vinyl is far less clear and transparent than I had anticipated. After having seen it from the inside, I really don't want to go this route.
SO, it looks like my current best option is to tint the rear windows a bit more, and wrap the car completely in black.

$250 for winning design in any colour || $400 if it's silver
Here's where the contest and prize come in;
The prize is awarded to the submission that is able to come up with a design idea that works for this application. Here are some guidelines to reference:
1) My preference was to have a metallic silver vehicle. This may not be possible, but this was my number one desire. Please feel free to submit in any colour combination you think will look good - but if you can come up with a design that works for silver, the prize money goes up to $400.
2) There is no limit to how many designs you can submit.
3) The judging is entirely up to me and is at my discretion, but rest assured, if your design is chosen, you will get paid.
4) I am now leaning away from the perforated vinyl as I think the visibility suffers too much, so assume that the windows will be as they are now, or tinted darker.
5) My last preference is a white vehicle.
6) My company colours are Black, Silver, and White.
7) Current front and rear bumpers can't be painted well, so they must stay grey.
8) Door handles and rub strips to remain black/unpainted.
9) An all-black wrap design on its own doesn't count, as that's the default. HOWEVER, if you are able to find a creative way to incorporate the logos into the design, and I use that design, that counts as a winner.
